The Financial Markets Internship at NextWave is a 2-week paid, intensive programme
designed to give you a practical understanding of how financial markets work today,
and how technology is reshaping them.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to financial markets and fintech, learn directly from industry leaders, receive one-to-one mentoring, and work on a real research project—culminating in a presentation to NextWave Partners and industry experts, and a standout addition to your CV.
During the programme, you’ll take part in expert-led presentations and workshops covering financial markets, risk, finance, data, and technology. You’ll gain insight into disruptive fintech and emerging market trends, engage with practitioners and CEOs, collaborate on a structured team research project, and present your findings to senior stakeholders on the final day.

Have a genuine interest in financial markets, finance, or technology
Be confident communicating in written and spoken English
Be available to work full-time from 29 June to 10 July 2026
Be able to live or stay in London during the internship.
Be a first- or second-year student
To perform this role effectively, access to a personal laptop and headset is required.
Significant insights and exposure to a professional environment.
Work remotely with a minimum 2-day office presence in London weekly. Full-time office attendance is welcome if preferred.
Participate and influence meaningful conservation programs.
25 days holiday with 2 days volunteering and training allowance.
Manage grantee partner relationships, including building trust and openness.
Provide administrative support across grant management, grant paperwork, reviewing partner reports and proposals, monitoring pipelines.
Contribute to communication products, including donor reports and applications, to support SE’s fundraising and philanthropic goals.
Managing and maintaining partner database, including data entry, preparing reports and basis analysis.
Contribute to the development of Synchronicity Earth’s processes and systems around partner management and due diligence.
