Bring People Together

As Events Officer, you'll help bring people together through events, conferences and engagement activities that support this work.

From webinars and networking events to international conferences such as COP and Climate Week, you'll play a key role in ensuring every detail runs smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll support the planning and delivery of a wide range of events, helping colleagues, partners and attendees have a seamless experience from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating in-person, online and hybrid events

  • Managing attendee communications and registrations

  • Organising travel, accommodation and visas

  • Liaising with venues, suppliers and external partners

  • Supporting event promotion and communications

  • Assisting with event reporting and evaluation

Through this essential role, you will help to raise Synchronicity Earth’s profile, influence funding practices in the environmental sector and champion the voices and perspectives of marginalised and underrepresented people in global conservation forums.

We're looking for someone who enjoys organising projects, managing multiple priorities and working with people.

You might already have experience in events, administration, communications or stakeholder engagement, or you may have developed transferable skills through volunteering, education or community projects.

Synchronicity Earth's Philanthropy and Engagement Team builds the relationships and creates the opportunities that help fund global conservation. From managing hybrid webinars to coordinating international logistics for summits like COP and Climate Week, the team creates spaces where our partners, Indigenous Peoples, and community leaders can connect and collaborate.

Joining Synchronicity Earth as an Events Officer means taking ownership of these spaces and supporting a global community working to protect Earth's overlooked species and ecosystems

WHO IS SYNCHRONICITY EARTH?

Synchronicity Earth is a UK charity that champions innovative, underfunded work to safeguard our natural world. Through strategic distribution of funding and a focus on long-term collaborations, they aim to maximise the impact of conservation efforts.


By recognising the importance of sustained effort and enduring relationships, Synchronicity Earth works to build a global network of conservation allies. They address urgent conservation needs, aiming to protect endangered species, preserve ecosystems, and support marginalised communities, ensuring that conservation efforts benefit both wildlife and human well-being.

Our Partnership with Generation Success

This programme is administered in partnership with Generation Success, our social mobility partner. We've worked together for three years to build a recruitment process that's fair, transparent, and designed to recognise potential over background.

Generation Success will support you throughout your application journey. They'll review your application, conduct your first-round interview, and if you progress, hand you over to us at Synchronicity Earth for the employer interviews.

Once you've shown us what you can do, Generation Success will manage your offer and run a workshop to help you build a strong foundation in your first 90 days with us.
