Joe Seifert

Chairman and Cofounder

Joe Seifert has 20 years experience across investment banking at J.P.Morgan, corporate finance as chief investment officer of a $17bn fund and as CEO & Cofounder of H4, a FinTech business that has raised over $27 million.

The session is designed to give an overview of investment banking, finance and start up life in an interactive session. 

Asad Husain

Asad Husain is a Director in the Fixed Income Origination team at TD Securities in London. He was hired by TD Securities in 2016, as the first employee in Europe focused on building a new debt capital markets advisory business for Banks. He now advises some of the largest financial institutions in Europe and Middle East on raising debt capital. Prior to joining TD Securities, he spent over five years at Deutsche Bank in Debt Capital Markets, primarily advising North European banks.

Asad holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from University College of London. He is also co-founder of a social enterprise, Humans in Finance, which advocates for positive impact in finance through its community, events and advocacy work.

An accomplished leader with over 20 years' executive experience providing advisory services on Regulations, Governance, Risk and Controls in the financial services sector. Held various leadership positions at Deloitte and was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs. Currently the Global Chief Operating Officer for Regulations Management at Citi. Passionate about Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) issues and is an Ambassador on the Diversity Project, an initiative in the Investment Management sector, with the aim to accelerate progress towards an inclusive culture within the sector.

Rene Perkins, CA MSc BA

Rene Perkins, CA MSc BA(hon) top 50 BAME founder under 50, is a serial entrepreneur dedicated to using technology for solving pressing problems of society and the environment. She was invited to No.10 Downing Street for her contribution on tech for good and being a judge for innovation competitions. She has been invited to speak in international conferences and companies including Amazon, Institute of Directors, Wavemaker Global and Red Bull. She has18 years consultancy and investment banking careers in Ernst & Young and HSBC. Since 2013, she established two start-ups around sustainable transportation solutions in smart cities. She enjoys painting, traveling and is a keen foodie especially when it comes to seafood. Most importantly she is a mum of two young girls who keep her grounded!
